Let’s face it, fossil fuels are not going to last forever. It is time to start researching and using alternative energy sources. We consume way too much fossil fuel and the pollution is destroying things almost as fast as we are using the fuel.

One of the most common types of alternative energy is solar power. Nasa has been using it for years to power satellites, rockets and parts of the space station. The sun has been producing energy since the beginning of time. It only makes since that we harness this power for a cleaner more sustainable form of energy that will satisfy our growing needs.

But what about cloudy days when the sun is not shinning or even better what about night? With solar energy we can store all the energy that is harnessed during peak times. Remember the old saying, “Save your money for a rainy day?” Well with solar energy we can save all of the energy from peak times for those dark dreary days when the sun decides to stay behind the clouds.

The future of solar energy looks bright and in fact it could very well be the energy answer we so desperately need.
